Pierce & Widera was founded in 2019 by two passionate property valuation experts – James Pierce and Christina Widera. Based in Melbourne, we provide accurate and reliable valuations to home owners, property investors and real estate agents across Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland.

Our team brings together over 30 years of combined valuation experience. We are fully licensed and certified valuers who take pride in providing exceptional service and tailored advice to every client.

James Pierce

Co-Founder & Certified Valuer

James has been valuing residential and commercial real estate for over 15 years across metropolitan and regional Australia. He is a Certified Practising Valuer with the Australian Property Institute andLicensed Valuer in three states.

Before starting Pierce & Widera, James was an associate director at a leading national valuation firm where he managed a team of 10 and conducted over 500 valuations annually. He specialises in insurance valuations and assisting first home buyers.

Christina Widera

Co-Founder & Certified Valuer

Christina is a Certified Practising Valuer with a wealth of experience in the property industry. She spent 10 years valuing for major banks and finance companies before co-founding Pierce & Widera.

Her expertise includes commercial valuations, capital gains tax valuations, and consulting for property developers. Christina has valued over $800 million worth of property covering all asset classes. She is a Licensed Valuer in multiple states.
